I am Isabella Makuta, CEO of Mapletree. I founded the company in 2019, following over two decades of being employed in government, state owned companies (SOC’s) and the private sector – with the aim of adding value in a unique and affordable way to clients. Making their work manageable, simpler, better.
My previous senior executive roles include Group Marketing & Communications Director, and Executive Director: HR, Communications and Stakeholder Relations for two large, listed companies; HR Executive and then AGM- Strategy & Business Integration in a large infrastructure and logistics SOC; Deputy Director in a national government department.
With this rich and diverse experience, I am able to strategically advise organisations on effectively managing an array of business issues and key stakeholders.
Leading a highly proficient technical and consulting team, I prefer to work personally, one-on-one, with a small number of clients. I am particularly passionate about developing unique solutions that differentiate them and help their businesses win.
